Three professionals at Carlisle/Wortman Associates have recently earned new credentials in planning and zoning.
Sally Elmiger, Associate, passed the Certified Green Professional and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Neighborhood Development Accredited Professional exams. This certification enables her to assist clients in evaluating sustainable development techniques and practices for compact developments, walkability, mixed uses, energy reduction and conservation, and green infrastructure. She will maintain her certification through continuing education.
Lucie Fortin, RLA, passed the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) exam. In addition to her professional license as a Landscape Architect, Lucie has now demonstrated her expertise in land use and community planning, local government management, policy, and strategic plan making. This designation also complements her skills in urban design and geographic information systems. She will also maintain her certification through continuing education.
Laura Kreps, Planner, has added to her existing credentials as an AICP and Certified Main Street Manager by passing the Zoning Administrator Certification exam offered by the Planning & Zoning Center at Michigan State University. This certification demonstrates Laura’s aptitude for zoning administration and enforcement techniques, in addition to her land use planning and economic development experience.
