Zachary Branigan,aicp, LEED AP, Associate

received his Master's of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan in 2001. Zachary's professional focus in physical planning has been developed through working with numerous communities on site and architectural guidelines, zoning ordinance updates, neighborhood plans, corridor plans, and other urban design programs. He has applied his experience and training in a wide variety of settings including the City of Troy, a remote, tourism-oriented village, a large urban neighborhood in City of Flint, in inner-ring suburbs, and in numerous Michigan Townships. In 2008, he obtained his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accreditation and began collaborating with clients and other CWA professionals to design new and innovative tools designed to integrate energy planning with CWA's traditional services. He has assisted a range of communities with energy grants, energy planning, and energy efficiency project administration.

For the past several years, Mr. Branigan has served the City of Troy in many capacities, working extensively on the Master Plan and Zoning Ordinance. He has also conducted regular office hours and prides himself on his role as an extension of the City's staff.
