Carlisle/Wortman Associates has prepared the Parks and Recreation Master Plan for Oxford Township in 1997, 2003, and again in 2009. These master plans have been instrumental in guiding recreation planning and development efforts of the community over their respective five-year planning period. Most of the recommended actions in 1997 and 2003 have been accomplished. These accomplishments have included the development of two new Township parks, Oakwood Lake Park and Powell Lake Park as well as the continued improvements of Seymour Lake Park and Stony Lake Park.
